CHICAGO - A top FBI official said Monday that a body found in an SUV is believed to be that of Jennifer Hudson's missing 7-year-old nephew, the focus of a desperate search since the Oscar winner's mother and brother were found shot to death in their home three days earlier.

While the body has not been positively identified, FBI Deputy Director John S. Pistole said authorities believe it to be that of Julian King, who also lived in the home.

Chicago police said the body of a black male child was found shortly after 7 a.m. in the rear seat of an SUV. An autopsy was planned for Tuesday.

The SUV was found parked on the street in a neighborhood of brownstone homes and apartment buildings, and matched the one sought in an Amber Alert issued after Hudson's mother and brother were found slain Friday, police Cmdr. Wayne Gulliford said.

In Washington, Pistole said at a news conference on child exploitation that authorities found a body "who we believe to be the missing victim in Chicago, the nephew of Jennifer Hudson. We are working with Chicago police to get a positive identification of the victim."

Hudson had offered $100,000 Sunday for information leading to Julian's safe return. He is the son of Jennifer Hudson's sister, Julia Hudson. Telephone and e-mail messages left Monday for Hudson's publicist, who had been releasing statements on behalf of the family, were not answered.

Chicago police have characterized the killings as "domestic related" and have been questioning William Balfour, who is the estranged husband of Julia Hudson and is being held in state custody on a parole violation. Balfour is not the boy's father and has not been charged in the slayings.

Balfour, 27, was taken into custody Friday by Chicago police for questioning in the killings. On Sunday, he was transferred to the Illinois Department of Corrections "based on his active parole violation unrelated to this investigation."

Records from the Corrections Department show Balfour is on parole and spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.

Balfour's mother, Michele Balfour, has said Hudson's mother kicked Balfour out of the family home last winter. She denied her son had anything to do with the killings.

Corrections spokeswoman Januari Smith said Balfour would probably remain in state custody until the Illinois Prisoner Review Board looked at his case. She would not say where Balfour was being held, and it was unclear whether Balfour had an attorney.

Hudson, who won an Academy Award in 2007 for her role in "Dreamgirls," was in Chicago during the weekend. The medical examiner's office confirmed Hudson, 27, identified the bodies of her mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, and 29-year-old brother, Jason Hudson. The deaths were ruled homicides.

Neighbors and well-wishers brought stuffed animals and other items to a makeshift memorial outside Donerson's two-story white clapboard home as news of Monday's discovery spread.

"Everybody knows Jennifer Hudson, but I would be here even if it was little Suzy on the corner," said Tacara Juarez, 26, who doesn't know the family but lives in the neighborhood.

On Sunday, Hudson appealed to the public for help, offering the reward and asking any information be given to Chicago police.

"Jennifer and her family appreciate the enormous amount of love, support and prayers they have received while she and her family try to cope with this tragedy and continue the search for Julian," said a statement from her publicist.

Some thoughts......

When I departed from Chicago about three years ago...it was extremely hard, but I think about all the great times I had while living there, and the vibe I got from the people around me. I was in a huge city with endless amounts of things to do...met some of the nicest people who continue to be very good and close friends, and everyone was extremely SUPPORTIVE of each other's goals and dreams to get money!!! I get so frustrated from time to time in Columbus...mainly because if you have bad news or gossip...you have all the company in the world, but when you trying to make things better or your living a life filled with good things- people are either not supportive or mad because they're life isn't going well at that time!!! It just sucks, because I mean we all have a different hand that we're dealt in life (that's a given) and we all have to face life at some point or the other, but when things are looking up or your trying to bring yourself up and become successful...the people you surround yourself with can be the deciding factor in how far you'll be able to go!!! And sometimes that may mean changing the company you keep! I've been to some of the most popular cities in this country and I've lived in two of them for a period of time ( Chicago and L.A.) and trust and believe that where you go in life and how you get there all starts with your drive followed by your support!! I miss Chicago for many reasons, but I just wish more people here in Columbus would put their ideas together to build a strong empire! Be more supportive of each other!! Help upcoming ventures and small businesses!!! Check out the boutiques downtown sometime and take a break from easton or polaris. If someone hands you a demo or hits you up and asks you to check out there work...take a minute to see what they're doing! I've met so many talented people and a lot of them are right here in Columbus!!! But I've heard so many people put down what other people are doing with no cause- just complaints!!! Starting a business has open my eyes up to many things I've never cared to really focus on until now and one of them is the importance of support and motivational thoughts!!! The main reason I love Mirrorlove Productions is because Trav and I stand behind the concept of supporting any and all people and their passion for whatever it may be!!! Everyone I meet inspires me in some way....support is essential and I want all the entrepreneurs out there or any one doing there own thing and trying to make a name for themselves in some way-- that on behalf of Trav and myself...YOU HAVE MIRRORLOVE'S SUPPORT!!! WHY DO MEN CHEAT...FROM A MAN POINT OF VIEW

So much for the myth that for men, cheating is all about physical intimacy: Only 8 percent of men said that physical dissatisfaction was the main factor in their infidelity. "Our culture tells us that all men need to be happy is to have physical intimacy with someone," Neuman says. "But men are emotionally driven beings too. They want their wives to show them that they're appreciated, and they want women to understand how hard they're trying to get things right." The problem is that men are less likely than women to express these feelings, so you won't always know when your guy is in need of a little affirmation. "Most men consider it unmanly to ask for a pat on the back, which is why their emotional needs are often overlooked," Neuman says. "But you can create a marital culture of appreciation and thoughtfulness -- and once you set the tone, he's likely to match it."

"That's another reason why it's so critical that he feel valued at home." Luckily, there's a clear warning sign that your husband is getting a little too cozy with a colleague: If he praises or mentions the name of a female coworker more than he would a male counterpart, your antennae should go up -- and it's time for the two of you to set boundaries about what is and isn't okay at work, Neuman says. Is it acceptable for him to work late if it's only him and her? Can they travel together to conferences? Have dinners out to discuss a project? Ask him what he'd feel comfortable with you doing with a male colleague.

If you're worried about infidelity, focus on making your relationship more loving and connected, not on getting your body just right or mastering how to please him physically. (But know that physical intimacy does matter -- it's one of the key ways your guy expresses his love and feels close to you, so be sure to keep it a priority.)

Actually, 73 percent of men got to know the other woman for more than a month before they cheated. This means that you may have time to see the warning signs before infidelity occurs -- you might even see it coming before he does. Your gut reaction may be to confront him, but most men will deny even thinking about cheating, especially if nothing physical has occurred yet. Instead, Neuman suggests, take charge of what you can control -- your own behavior -- and take the lead in bringing your relationship to a better place. Don't hesitate to show your appreciation for him, prioritize time together, and initiate affection more. Give him a reason to keep you at the front of his mind, Neuman says. Last titanic survivor can't pay her bills.. Damn!!!

LONDON - Millvina Dean was only 2 months old when she was wrapped in a sack and lowered into a lifeboat from the doomed Titanic. Now 96, the last survivor of the tragic sinking is selling mementos of the disaster to help pay her nursing home fees.

Rescued from the bitterly cold Atlantic on that April 1912 night, Dean, her 2-year-old brother and her mother were taken to New York with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Before returning home to England, they were given a small wicker suitcase of donated clothing, a gift from New Yorkers to help them rebuild their lives.

Now, Dean is selling the suitcase and other Titanic mementos to help pay her nursing home fees. They are expected to go for $5,200 at an auction of Titanic memorabilia Saturday in Devizes in western England.

Among the items are rare prints of the Titanic and letters from the Titanic Relief Fund offering her mother one pound, seven shillings and sixpence a week in compensation.

But the key item in the sale is the suitcase, said auctioneer Andrew Aldridge. "They would have carried their little world in this suitcase," he said Thursday.

Dean has lived at Woodlands Ridge, a private nursing home in the southern city of Southampton — Titanic's home port — since she broke her hip two years ago.

"I am not able to live in my home anymore," Dean was quoted as telling the Southern Daily Echo newspaper. "I am selling it all now because I have to pay these nursing home fees and am selling anything that I think might fetch some money."

According to Vibe magazine's fans, Lil Wayne isn't "The Best Rapper Alive." He isn't even in the top two. After weeks of online voting, Eminem was crowned the globe's top MC in a tournament-style contest.

In a contest on the magazine's Web site, 64 of today's top rappers — from MTV News' reigning "Hottest MC in the Game" Kanye West toRick Ross, Nas and T.I. — were given brackets, similar to NCAA basketball teams during March Madness. Fans began voting on head-to-head matchups in July, with MCs gradually being eliminated until Marshall Mathers was tapped as the ultimate victor this month, beating out Brooklyn lyric guru Jay-Z. Slim Shady received 69 percent of the votes in the finals. The magazine said more than 920,000 votes were cast.

"EDITOR'S NOTE" Em is dope and i think he is top 5 emcee's in the game. Marshall isn't better than Jay or Nas and a couple other people that i will keep to myself.

Hey it's LC here.....this will probably be one of the most personal blogs I ever write!!! But writing always helps me!!! Today is my father's birthday.....he passed away three years ago. That's him in the pic ( wasn't him handsome!!!) We consistently bumped heads because we are both so damn stubborn! lol But I'm so honored to be his daughter!!! We share a lot of the same traits...we both love to read...both are intelligent...and both very protective over those we love!!! It's still hard and I'm assuming it will always be hard letting go, especially since he has grandchildren that will never get to be with him and see how goofy and silly he was!!! I've made a lot of mistakes in my life and I'm fine with them all except for one..... not telling my father " thank you" and "i love you" before he passed, and so now i say it everyday!!! I've learned not to take those closest, or anyone for that matter for granite!!! Life really is too short to just think about things instead of doing them!!!!! Don't worry Pops I'll always remember to:

Producer Johnny Jackson aka Johnny J. died from an apparent suicide in the Los Angeles County Jail yesterday (October 3).

According to a number of reports, Jackson, who was incarcerated on a DUI charge, allegedly jumped from a tier in the prison, resulting in his death, although the official cause of death has not been determined...

Around 1993, Johnny J started an affiliation with Shakur, which would eventually produce hundreds of recordings land the producer work on a number of high profile releases.

He produced tracks on albums like The Above The Rim soundtrack, as well as Tupac’s Thug Life album, Me Against The World and All Eyez On Me, which contained the hit single How Do U Want It, which was a Johnny J. production

'm hearing that Maino slapped the shit out of Yung Berg last night at a NYC club (I think it was Prime). DJ Self was spinning hot music and Yung Berg was spinning hot garbage, apparently. Onlookers claim that Berg was talking shit to the wrong dude- and approached Maino with "I heard you were talking reckless." People are saying that the smack was so loud- you could hear it over the music. LMAO. Does he not know that Maino is a monster and is looking for a reason to yap somebody? Since this is the age of youtube- I’m sure we’ll see some action.

Poor Berg- he just recovered his chain and now he’s got more damage control to handle. Literally.
