My dream to be a emcee!

Where do I start...I always loved hip-hop since i seen krs-one rocking them jordans in the my philosphy video.I never thought i would be a emcee back then.Fast forward to circa 98-99 when i met Dion from elevator music and he turn me on to his crew the legendary "3.r.d. I was so surprise to hear some dope emcee's from columbus that sounded original! That right there spark the lines in head and i put them to paper.July of '99 i decided to be a emcee and let this dream i had become reality. It's almost 10years later and the game has change so much and i still love it the same way i did in '88.Looking at my so-called rap career i just want to thank everybody that ever said i was nice or dope on the m.i.c and that was a fan of my work! I dont do this for a deal i do this because i truly love hip-hop as a culture and a life style!
Peace and mirrorlove...Trav...

January Wrap-Up!!!

2009 started out as a year of change for us......and also a part of history.

We started off the year heading out to an industry/surprise party for one of the world's most talented brotha's Rashad from elevator music. The event was filled with the top professionals in Ohio doing their thang...from artists, designers, deejays, models, dancers, singers....it was a nice event and a good way to start the year with a little motivational push..not to mention a drink..shhhh! lol

After that the magic began....we planned our trip to head to D.C. to be a part of America's history and see the inauguration of the first black president Barack Obama.
It was beyond freezing out there....but the feeling in the air took over the weather condition...there were people from all parts of the world that came to witness this event. All ages and backgrounds....we will be showcasing a documentary with the help of others here in the C.O. shout out to FLYPAPER!!! Here's a little bit of what the environment was like:

Looking back in the mirror on all the people, the feeling of hope, the love, the togetherness...man there are no words to describe it....stay tuned as we begin the process of documenting this historical event for all of you to cherish!!!

PLANE CRASH IN THE HUDSON RIVER

NEW YORK – A US Airways plane crashed into the frigid Hudson River on Thursday afternoon after striking a bird that disabled two engines, sending 150 on board scrambling onto rescue boats, authorities say. No deaths or serious injuries were immediately reported.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Laura Brown says the US Airways Flight 1549 had just taken off from LaGuardia Airport enroute to Charlotte, N.C., when the crash occurred in the river near 48th Street in midtown Manhattan.

Brown says the plane, an Airbus 320, appears to have hit one or more birds.

A law enforcement official said that authorities are not aware of any deaths and that the passengers do not appear to be seriously injured. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the rescue was still under way.

The plane was submerged in the icy waters up to the windows. Rescue crews had opened the door and were pulling passengers in yellow life vests from the plane. Several boats surrounded the plane, which appeared to be slowly sinking.

Government officials do not believe the crash is related to terrorism.

"There is no information at this time to indicate that this is a security-related incident," Homeland Security spokeswoman Laura Keehner said. "We continue to closely monitor the situation which at present is focused on search and rescue."

Witnesses said the plane's pilot appeared to guide the plane down.

"I see a commercial airliner coming down, looking like it's landing right in the water," said Bob Read, who saw it from his office at the television newsmagazine "Inside Edition."

"This looked like a controlled descent."

New York City firefighters and the U.S. Coast Guard are responding to the crash.

"I saw what appeared to be a tail fin of a plane sticking out of the water," said Erica Schietinger, whose office windows at Chelsea Piers look out over the Hudson. "All the boats have sort of circled the area."
